Born in Byron Bay in 2017, Light Years is a restaurant that was created from a desire to bring a fun, modern Asian dining experience to the East Coast. This new Jonson Lane iteration of the venue boasts delicious share style food, unique cocktails, and the friendly waitstaff many have come to know and love. Designed by Sarah Ellison and Studio Plenty, the space is a departure from Light Years' signature tropical style with a more refined and matured tonal palette, as well as a broader menu curated by head chef Robbie Oijvall, who is known for his bold, colourful, and punchy food.
